Casey Nicholls, Owner/Boat Lift Pro

An avid boating enthusiast, Casey Nicholls spends a lot of time on the water. When he's not working with customers, he's out in his cruiser with his wife Catherine and their dog Colby. Originally from Ontario, Canada, Casey has lots of experience in sales and customer relations. He was one of four owners of a multi-million dollar IT sales and service company before he ventured out to start his own. In 2003 Casey met his wife Catherine, a Carolina native, and shortly thereafter he moved to the Charlotte region, where he started to work for his father-in-law's dock building business, The Master's Construction, based in Ft. Mill, SC. He first started swinging a hammer, then put his years of business experience to use working with customers, and navigating the building permit process. Soon Casey had fallen in love with all aspects of marine construction. Following his entrepreneurial instincts, he saw an opportunity to fill a void in the Carolina boat lift market. This was the beginning of WATERJACK. Casey and his wife Catherine are active in their local community and members of Next Level Church in Matthews, NC.

Rob Helms, Boat Lift Pro

Rob has nearly a decade of experience in the boat lift industry. He has honed his skills as lead installer for nine years at a competitor. Though there was a revolving door of management in the company, Rob remained the constant source of expertise in boat lift installation. When the economy took a turn, Rob was looking for other opportunities. Having already worked as Casey's main contact on a number of projects over the years, a partnership had already formed even before he was recruited to use his technical genius at WATERJACK. Rob is very well liked in the local boating scene and has helped many customers with their boat lift needs. His skill, work ethic and take charge attitude earns him the title Boat Lift Pro many times over.

I purchased a lift from a friend on the opposite side of Lake Wylie and hired WaterJack to transport by water taxi and install the lift at my dock. I wanted to ride along during the transportation to observe the procedure and was informed the transportation would have to be performed very early in the morning to avoid the lake traffic. Water Jack completed the disconnect, transported the lift and re-installed at my dock perfectly. Even though the transportation took over 2 hours at approximately 2 mph, the morning sunrise over the lake and the coffee made the adventure incredible. I would recommend Casey Nicholls and Water Jack for any of your boat lift needs. They are true professionals and get the job done.
